2011 Barbera

Carefully bridging the gap between Old World and New, Barbera was the first red grape we planted. We carefully cultivate and crop these vines, producing a wine with the traditional Italian black cherry flavor along with rich California purple fruit, moderate acidity, growing minerality and naturally low tannins. Barbera is a great introductory wine that also holds a special place at any dinner table.

Hand harvested, unfined, lightly filtered, hand bottled, 11 barrels produced, 13.8%ABV.
